AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Junior League of Austin has teamed up with Austin ISD for the 30th annual Coats for Kids distribution.

In one day, the non-profit plans to distribute more than 35,000 coats to Central Texas children and families in need of a coat in time for the winter months.

Coats will be distributed Saturday until 3 p.m. at the Palmer Events Center on 900 Barton Springs Road.

To be eligible for a coat, a child must be 18-years-old or younger and must show proof of both age and income.
