AUSTIN (KXAN) — Schools in Central Texas are trying to fight back against the flu.

Starting this week, kids can get free flu shots at school. Children must be at least two-years-old and need adult consent forms.

“This is a preventable disease. We make sure we do what we can to prevent children and their families from getting a disease that can be quite uncomfortable to have for one thing,” said Rep. Donna Howard, D, Texas House District 48.Flu clinic shots schedule
