GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — Six separate brush fires along Interstate 35 through Georgetown had traffic moving at a snail’s pace Friday morning.

A KXAN viewer picture shows the fire was in a grassy median around 10 a.m. Authorities say the fire started around I-35 and Westinghouse. A spokesperson for the city of Georgetown says they had six separate grass fires along I-35 southbound between exit 257 and exit 264.
