AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin non-profit organization is launching a new campaign, just in time for Father’s Day.
The Miracle Foundation invites kids to honor their dads by donating the same money they would spend on a tie or a watch to buy sports and recreation equipment for orphaned children in India.
“Participating in our campaign will engage both of you in the lives of less fortunate children in the developing world. What better way to pay tribute to your father than by donating to those who don’t have one?” Caroline Boudreaux, founder of The Miracle Foundation said.
Tax-deductible donations can be made in the name of a father or a father-figure at the Miracle Foundation website. Donation amounts range from $25 to $135 and can provide anything from athletic apparel to a bundle of equipment including soccer balls, volleyball and board games.
