HOUSTON (KXAN) — There’s one final recruiting battle to be settled in 2019 recruiting between Texas and Texas A&M.
Houston North Forest offensive lineman Javonne Shepherd will decide between the Texas A&M, Texas, Georgia and Alabama next Wednesday on National Signing Day. According to most recruiting experts, Shepherd’s expected to ultimately pick between the two Texas schools.
On Wednesday, Shepherd set his commitment time for signing day.
Shepherd commited to Texas this past summer, but has kept his options open visiting Austin and College Station during the 2018 football season.
Shepherd, considered a four-star prospect by most recruiting services, visited Georgia last weekend and previously made official visits to Alabama and Texas A&M.
The Longhorns will get Shepherd’s final visit this weekend before he signs with a program.
