EL PASO, Texas (KXAN) — An Amber Alert has been discontinued for two children, ages 9 and 10 taken from El Paso, Texas after they were found around 9:53 a.m.

The missing children were thought to be in danger. The missing 9-year-old girl is Ashley Michelle Estrada and her 10-year-old brother Brandon Jesus Estrada.
Police believed the children were taken by their mother, Brenda Estrada, 31. The suspect accused of abducting the children is driving a blue/green 2001 Acura vehicle with the license plate HGV4546, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Ashley is described as 4’9″ weighing 100 pounds wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Brandon is 4’5″ weighing 90 pounds.
Brenda is thought to be with a companion, 29-year-old Miguel Mendez, who is described by police as 5’10” weighing 210 pounds. A felony warrant has been issued for Mendez.
