3 high school football players accused in Texas State armed robbery

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) — Three high school football players have been arrested Thursday in connection to an armed robbery at Texas State University back in February, according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas State police.

In a Facebook post Thursday, University Police identified the suspects as Demetrius Jones, Lynden Jones and Mohan Hegde. Each has each been charged with aggravated robbery stemming from a February 20th armed robbery at the Bobcat Village Apartments in San Marcos.

Round Rock ISD has confirmed that all three are students at Westwood High School, but could not confirm if they were on the football team. Their mugshots and names match the photos and information on the school’s football roster.

According to University Police, an unidentified fourth suspect is still wanted.
