AUSTIN (KXAN) – You’re flying through the sky and suddenly… your plane starts shaking about. This could be a result of turbulence. Turbulence is caused by the movement of hot and cold air in our atmosphere. Chief Meteorologist David Yeomans explains how turbulence occurs and why planes are able to fly at all in this First Warning Weather University lesson.
