If you’re looking for a spring event that is great for the whole family, the Blanton Museum of Art’s block party would probably fit the bill.

On Saturday, March 24, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the museum will be free to all visitors. In addition to the free admission, the museum will have live music, art activities and food from local restaurants available for purchase.

The Blanton Block Party also gives people a chance to see the new and permanent exhibit “Austin” created by Ellsworth Kelly.

Last year’s block party was well-attended with 17,000 visitors.
