After years of reporting on stories across the nation, Nabil Remadna is happy to finally be home telling stories in the city he grew up in.

Before working for KXAN, Nabil crisscrossed the country working in Rapid City, South Dakota and Honolulu, Hawaii, with his last stop taking him to Nashville, Tennessee where he worked as a morning reporter. 

Over the years, Nabil has covered hurricanes, wildfires, manhunts — you name it — and he has been out on the front lines working to inform the community and tell the stories about the people who have been impacted. 

Most recently Nabil found himself reporting on the Nashville tornado moments after it ripped through downtown. His goal was to show the nation the severity of the destruction, but also shine a light on the families that needed help and the thousands of volunteers that stepped up. 

Nabil joined the KXAN morning team in June 2020 as a morning reporter and MMJ. Nabil prides himself on writing, editing and shooting all his video.
