Erica Pauda is a digital content producer and joined the KXAN digital team in December 2022. She comes to KXAN with nearly seven years of experience in the media industry.

She received a B.A. in journalism from Texas Tech University in 2014.

In 2016, Erica started her career as a newspaper reporter before transitioning into broadcast and digital news in Lubbock, Texas a few years later.

After taking a slight hiatus from news as a public information officer in January 2022, Erica decided she was not done with news yet and found her passion to report for the Central Texas area.

While Erica is not working, she loves attending metal shows in the Austin/Central Texas area.
