Dylan is a native Texan, born and raised southeast of Houston. He graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and is a proud Sun Devil.

Before joining the KXAN news team, Dylan worked for two years in El Paso covering a variety of topics. Most notably, Dylan was on the frontline of the migrant crisis at the southwest border; provided exclusive coverage of the whirlwind surrounding the district attorney’s office and her eventual resignation; and continued coverage of a legal fight between the city of El Paso and a Houston oil tycoon over a proposed downtown arena.

Dylan joined the KXAN morning team in January 2023. He looks forward to providing local news coverage that impacts the Austin area and community.
