Weekend Sports Anchor

Chris joined KXAN in May 2012 as the sports reporter.

His first experience in journalism came when he started writing for the sports section of the Daily Texan when he was at the University of Texas. From there, Chris got an internship in the sports department at KXAN.

After graduating, Chris’ first on-air job came as the weekend sports anchor at KLST in San Angelo. From there, he moved to Lubbock where he held the same job at KLBK covering all things Texas Tech before he was able to return to Austin.

Chris grew up in Spring, Texas, a suburb of Houston, where his parents still live. He has an older brother, Jason, who lives in Southern California.

Chris left KXAN in January 2022.
