AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police are looking for two men they say robbed the Chase Bank located at 3317 Northland Dr in Austin a little after 1 p.m. Saturday.
APD says two men walked into the bank carrying guns, and demanding money. Two shots were fired, but no one was injured.
Police say the suspects were both white men dressed in black hooded sweatshirts. They were also wearing gloves, bandanas, sunglasses, and blue jeans. One man was wearing black and white converse sneakers.
Bank employees and customers were able to escape through a back door, and no one was hurt.
The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, a light band of freezing drizzle traversed the I-35 corridor eastward. With sub-freezing temperatures, even the light precipitation created major problems.
