AUSTIN (KXAN) - Citing scheduling conflicts, officials announced Keith Urban's canceled concert at Austin360 Amphitheater will not be rescheduled.
Urban was originally slated to play at the Circuit of the Americas venue on Aug. 15. Severe weather rolled through the region just before Urban was set to take the stage.
"We can't play, and I am so, so sorry," Urban said in a YouTube video he posted from his tour bus . "They tell us we have no lights, no production, nothing...because of the storms."
Urban was hopeful the show could be rescheduled, and COTA and concert promoter Live Nation had originally encouraged concertgoers to hold onto their tickets with hopes of a new date in mind.
Refunds are available at points of purchase or by calling Ticketmaster customer service at 1-800-653-8000.
In May, COTA and Live Nation postponed a Jimmy Buffet concert at the amphitheater after unseasonably cold and windy weather moved into the Austin area. Later in the month, severe weather postponed a Dave Matthews Band performance . Both of those shows were made up the next day.
