AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police believe the “I’m Sorry Robber” is responsible for a holdup at a 7-Eleven in North Austin Thursday.
The suspect held a gun in front of the convenient store clerk and demanded money, police said. He left the store on foot.
Police said that based on surveillance footage, they believe the crime to be linked with five incidents that occurred in July 2013. In each case the suspect apologizes to clerks during the armed robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male standing at 5’8” to 6 feet weighing 140 to 160 pounds in his twenties.
