AUSTIN (KXAN) - Ryan's Day has become an annual tradition in Pflugerville and every year Ryan joins KXAN to raise awareness about his disease.
Ryan has been beating the odds for 21 years, battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He says he still has hope that doctors will find a cure for his devastating disease.
In the meantime, Ryan keeps himself busy as a local musician. He recently released his first album called The Tournament and will be hosting the fourth annual Ryan's Day in Pfluggerville Saturday.
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a muscle degenerative condition that is deadly and affects about 1 out of every 3500 boys.
