Heavy rains and storms moving across the region have forced a handful of postponements and cancellation of area football games.
Friday's game pitting Lake Travis against A&M Consolidated has been canceled and will not be made up. The Cavaliers will open district play against Austin High on Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on KBVO.
The matchups between College Station High School at St. Michael’s Academy (Austin), and Thorndale and Hallettsville-Sacred Heard were also canceled.
Little River Academy at Jarrell has been moved to Temple’s Wildcat Stadium, but will still be played at 7:30 tonight.
Holland vs. Bartlett postponed to Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
