UTOPIA, Texas (KXAN) - On Sept. 28-30 camping and music will come together in the Hill Country for Utopiafest .
The weekend brags about no lines, no crowds and no mess.
That's because they have a capped audience. The festival only sells 1,800 tickets to campers.
Two stages and campgrounds are spread out long 1,000 un-fenced acres. And despite the two stages, performances never overlap.
Included in your ticket price is free camping near state parks with access to swimming and fishing.
The weekend is also family friendly with kid activities and performances.
Utopia is located about three hours southwest of Austin and 1 1/2 miles northwest of San Antonio, between Garner State Park and Lost Maples. It is close to Kerrvillle, down the road from Bandera.
