AUSTIN (KXAN) - Marci Palmer is facing a felony charge of carrying a weapon in a prohibited place after a Transportation and Security Administration agent said they found a gun in her carry-on bag when it went through an X-ray machine at ABIA Thursday.
The TSA agent searched Palmer's carry-on bag and sent it through an X-ray machine, a court affidavit states.
According to the affidavit, the weapon was introduced intentionally, knowingly or recklessly into a secured area of the airport and into an area marked by both a sign and symbol warning that weapons were not allowed.
Palmer is being held on $5,000 bond.
