In-N-Out reopens after new bun shipment arrives

AUSTIN (KXAN) — In-N-Out Burgers across Texas reopened Wednesday morning after remaining empty for two days.

The California-based restaurant chain shut down the locations Monday after it says a shipment of buns was not up to its quality standards. There were no food safety concerns.

Most of the In-N-Out Burgers in Texas are in cities along Interstate 35, from San Antonio to Dallas. Austin boasts three restaurants.

The news that In-N-Out had temporarily closed create a huge buzz on social media, with many Texans saying they prefer Whataburger, anyway.
