Home recipe Ingredients:
- 3 - 4 Farm fresh tomatoes
- 1 - 4 Serranos, farm fresh if in season and according to your heat tolerence
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup chopped clinatro
- 1/2-3/4 Tablespoon Kosher salt or to taste
- Olive oil blend with canola just enough to coat all ingredients
- 1/4 Sliced onion
In medium-hot sautee pan add oil and then add all ingredients except the cilantro.
The goal is to char all of the ingredients on all sides to achieve a smoky flavor.
Once the ingredients are thoroughly cooked and charred add to a blender with the cilantro and salt and blend (careful with hot liquids in the blender!)
Taste and adjust seasoning
Serve with your favorite tacos or any other meal!
