AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Hays County Sheriff's Office is searching for Mark DavidSimmons, who is now named as a "person of interest" in the death ofSteven Wayne Woelfel, 55.
Simmons is one of the last known people to have been in thecompany of the victim.
There is an active warrant for Simmons out of Rockport connectedto a failure to appear in court on a weapons violation. Deputies warn that Simmons should be considered armed anddangerous.
Simmons is believed to be driving a blue/silver 2008 HyundaiSonata with Texas license plates FKR-062. The car was stolenfrom Aransas County.
Victim Woelfel was found dead on April 17th in his garage at1132 Live Oak Loop in Buda. Firefighters found Woelfel whilefighting a fire in the garage.
