AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Hays County Sheriff's Office is charging Mark David Simmonswith capital murder in connection with the death of Steven WayneWoelfel, 55, authorities said Wednesday.
Simmons was one of the last known people to have been in thecompany of the victim.
There is also an active warrant for Simmons out of Rockportconnected to a failure to appear in court on a weapons violation.Simmons is considered armed and dangerous.
Simmons is believed to be driving a blue/silver 2008 HyundaiSonata with Texas license plates FKR-062. The car was stolenfrom Aransas County.
