ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - All classes were canceled Wednesday at McNeil High School after water service was turned off following a water line break.
Classes at McNeil High School in Round Rock ISD will resume on Thursday.
Meanwhile, scheduled STAAR testing for Wednesday at McNeil High will be rescheduled for this Friday.
Austin Water Utility has also issued a boil water notice for the affected area, so students will not be allowed to drink out of water foundations until the notice is lifted.
Water will be on hand for students and staff when they return. In addition, hand sanitizer will be provided in all restrooms. Food Service has been notified of the boil water notice and breakfast and lunch will be served as scheduled.
STAAR writing testing, which had been scheduled for today (April 3) at McNeil, has been rescheduled for Friday, April 5.
