AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police are hoping these surveillance pictures will help them find a man who has robbed two gas stations in three days.
Police said the first robbery happened at a Shell gas station in the 2700 block of East 7th Street on Friday at 7 p.m.
The suspect was checking out when he pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the cashier, demanding money.
On Sunday, police said the suspect did the same thing at a Valero gas station in the 2000 block of E. State Highway 71.
The suspect description:
- Approximately 5'8"
- Medium build
- Manicured beard, short brown hair
- Tattoo behind right ear, a tattoo of a cross on his left inside forearm and abrasions on top of his right hand.
The suspect possibly drives an older model 1990s Chevy Tahoe with a faded paint job.
