ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - A man believed to be about 58 years old was killed just before 7 a.m. Monday when an 18-wheeler struck the driver's side of his vehicle on Hester's Crossing.
An officials from Round Rock Police Department said the passenger vehicle was heading west on Hester's Crossing as the tractor-trailer headed north on the frontage road of Interstate Highway 35. The truck hit the car, but it is unknown at this time who was at fault, according to Officer Dee Carver.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
RRPD ask anyone who may have been a witness to the crash to please contact police at 512-218-5538 or submit a tip to 847411 with the password "RRPD."
RRPD is investigating the crash and no charges have been filed.
