AUSTIN (KXAN) - A 20-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after being run over by a ski boat Friday afternoon on Lake Travis.
It happened near Ranch Road 620 and Bullock Hollow Road around 4:25 p.m.
Travis County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Roger Wade says the woman was part of a large group visiting from Ontario, Canada.
The unidentified woman suffered lacerations, but no details were immediately available.
Wade says the driver of the boat, a 19-year-old man, had been taken in under suspicions of intoxication assault but investigators found no evidence of intoxication and released the man.
Police say the woman was transported via STARFlight to University medical Center Brackenridge with unknown injuries.
