ELROY, Texas (KXAN) - A man is in custody after a Travis County SWAT team apprehended a him near the Circuit of the Americas in southeast Travis County.
At the request of Bastrop County officers, the SWAT team was called in to serve a warrant to Daniel Sanchez, 34, for parole violations.
Sanchez was located at a store at 13912 Elroy Road. He was taken into custody and handed over to Bastrop County officers.
Officials said Friday Sanchez's arrest was not related to a homicide that happened in the area discovered Wednesday.
John Brunson, a manager at Wild Bubba's Wild Game Grill, watched the scene unfold.
"Gentleman in a red Mustang pulled up to the pump," Brunson said. "They snatched him out of there, searched the vehicle and put him in the Bastrop County vehicle and towed his vehicle away."
