AUSTIN (KXAN) - A bank robber managed to hit two separate banks in Austin on Tuesday in less than an hour.
Police said the robber ran away from both banks, though no one knew in which direction he went each time.
While he did not show a weapon, he managed to leave with money from both banks.
Less than a month ago, a bank robbery suspect sparked SWAT team response in North Austin.
The suspect had barricaded himself inside a home after the bank robbery at the Bank of America at 2511 West Parmer Lane. A witness followed the suspect from the bank to a home on Northridge Drive and alerted police.
Though the man was armed, he later surrendered to police.
