AUSTIN (KXAN) - The music scene rolls on in Austin with the Urban Music Festival .
The event, which started Friday, attracted thousands to Auditorium Shores.
This is the eighth year of the event, which organizers originally put together to give those in town for the Texas Relays more entertainment options.
The party continues on Saturday at 11 a.m. Events run through 10:30 p.m.
Saturday's line-up includes headliner Anthony Hamilton. Also performing is Regina Belle, Book of Soul Part 2, Kevin Sandbloom, Cupid and Taj Austin.
Hot Sauce Funk Band, Blue Mist Funk Band, Marques Calloway and Latasha Lee & the Black Ties will also be a part of Saturday's festivities.
Brandy was the feature act on Friday.
