AUSTIN (KXAN) - A wreck on a rain-slicked Guadalupe Street early Tuesday morning killed a motorcyclist.
Austin police responded to the crash that happened just after 6 a.m. when the biker, heading north on Guadalupe Street, ran into a car that was turning at 39th Street. The car was heading south on Guadalupe Street.
EMS took him to University Medical Center Brackenridge, but he died at the hospital.
Police are investigating but said he did have on a helmet. His name has not been released.
Meanwhile, STARFlight lifted a woman in Northeast Travis County with serious injuries to the hospital following a wreck Tuesday morning.
It happened at U.S. Highway 290 and State Highway 130. That's just west of Parmer Lane.
