AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police were looking for a person who shot and killed one man and injured another person at the Cameron Green Apartments on Tuesday night.
Police said the shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. in the 5700 block of Cameron Road , which is near the Capital Plaza shopping center.
Authorities received a 911 call that said a man had been shot and wasn't breathing. Police said the victim died at the scene.
Police said a second shooting victim was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with a gunshot wound to the head.
The 911 caller stated that the shooter ran away from the scene.
