Dozens of contestants squared off Thursday at the Hula Hut for the KASE 101 Radio's "Belly Flop" contest.
A panel of judges gave scores for splash size, landing and style. The winner gave us some belly flopping tips.
Man, you just got to, just got to full-out, just straight-down flop on the water," said the winner, who called himself Bubba Friend. "Just like I said, it's like getting a new bed. Just got to flop down on it."
For his effort, Friend won a trip to New York City to see Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw and a free tubing trip for 10 people.
