AUSTIN (KXAN) - An Austin man and woman are in jail after a prostitution sting that was held in the parking lot of Bikini's Bar and Grill on Friday.
According to the arrest affidavit Paul Ortner, 37, is accused of being the driver for a woman suspected of being a prostitute and was to be paid $50 for driving her there.
The affidavit said that Sara Jordan, 30, met an undercover officer in the parking lot and agreed to have sex for a fee of $350 to $400. She said there were also sex toys and costumes in her vehicle parked nearby.
The undercover officer accepted the deal then called for uniformed officers to detain Jordan and Ortner.
Police then placed Jordan under arrest for prostitution and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Ortner was arrested and charged with promotion of prostitution and with unlawful carrying of a weapon where alcohol is served.
