AUSTIN (KXAN) - It's no surprise to Austin ACL brings traffic problems. Parts of Barton Springs Road, Stratford Drive and Riley Road will be closed throughout the weekend.
Barton Springs Road will be closed from Robert E Lee to Mo-Pac. Stratford Drive will be closed from Barton Springs Road to Nature Center Drive.
If you want to ditch the car, ACL teamed up with Capital Metro to offer the official ACL Festival shuttle. Which is also free!
The shuttle will run from Republic Square Park (located at 4th and Guadalupe) to Zilker Park. The bus starts running at 10 a.m. and lasts until an hour after the last band leaves the stage.
Regular Capital Metro routes can also help attendees get to the park, including routes 4, 21 and 22.
