AUSTIN (KXAN) - Although things are bit scaled back this year at Zilker, CapitalMetro is still offering their service to help get people to and fromthe Zilker Tree.
Route 30 offers bus service with frequent pick-up times to andfrom the light displays.
Residents who want to spin under the tree this year can hop on Route 30 and ride it right to the front gate.The festival-goers can catch the bus at many locations along Route30.
"We hope families will take advantage of this frequent,convenient service and enjoy their trip to the festivities," saidDoug Allen, Capital Metro Interim CEO/President.
It runs every 10 to 15 minutes starting at 5:30 p.m. until 10:30p.m. It costs $1.50 for an adult and just 70 cents for children sixto 18. Kids under five ride for free.
Capital Metro does caution that riders need to bring exactchange, as drivers cannot make change.
