GANSBAAI, South Africa (NBC/YOUTUBE) - Thrill-seekers off the coast of South Africa had a close encounter with what was described as a great white shark.
Video posted online showed divers in a shark-proof cage when a great white shark swam up and wedged its head inside the cage.
The divers moved out of the way while the shark thrashed around for a few seconds.
It finally made its way out of the cage.
The incident was all caught on video, which has now gone viral. As of Saturday, it had more than 158,000 views on YouTube.
