AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police are thanking the public for the tips and information that led to the arrest of a man suspected of sexual assault in Georgetown.
The Williamson County Fugitive Task Force arrested Mark Anthony Rabadan at 1:30 a.m. in Austin after a tip about him staying at the Super 8 Motel at Interstate 35 and Rundberg Lane.
Police had been looking for Rabadan since last week, when they thought he may have been trying to make his way toward Mexico.
Without any trouble, police arrested Rabadan on two outstanding warrants issued by the Georgetown Police Department, one on the first-degree felony of continuous sexual abuse of a child and the second on the second-degree felony of sexual assault of a child.
Rabadan is currently in the Williamson County Jail.
