DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas - Firefighters from the North Hays Fire Department had a busy night tackling a large house fire in Dripping Springs on Friday night.
According to the Hays County Sheriff's Office, the house fire started just after 6:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Spring Valley Drive, just off of Springlake Drive near Ranch Road 12.
When firefighters arrived, the home was already fully engulfed in flames.
The Hays County Fire Marshal Mark Chambers said the 1902 Victorian-style home was completely destroyed by the fire. The family was not home when the fire started and no one was injured.
According to a youth minister at Dripping Springs United Methodist Church, the home belonged to a family that attends their church.
