AUSTIN (KXAN) - A 16-year-old girl was drugged and gang-raped at a party July29th, according to Austin police. Now police are searching forCornelio Anthony Lugo, 19, and Landon Shane Langley, 20.
On July 30th, Austin police were called to St. David's Hospitalto investigate a sexual assault. The victim and her mothertold police the teen had been driven to a party on the 6500 blockof Pevensey Drive by another 16-year-old girl.
The victim told police she was drinking soda and when she wentto the bathroom she handed the drink to a friend. Later the victimsaid an unknown man at the party told her that the friend who droveher to the party had put three Xanax "bars" in the drink.
The victim said she began feeling dizzy and went to the bathroombecause she was not feeling well. The victim said Landon Langleycame into the bathroom and began taking off his pants. Thevictim told police she tried to leave, but Langley stopped her andcalled to his friend Cornelio Lugo.
Then the girl said Langley called out into the party asking ifanybody else "wanted in" and two other men came into thebathroom.
The victim told police Langley held her down on the ground, andLugo took off her shorts. The girl struggled to get away butwas unable to, police said. The the girl was raped by the fourmen.
When the men were finished their attack, the girl ran outsidecrying and was brought back inside the house by the friend who haddriven her there, according to police.
Then the victim says another man pulled her into the bathroomagain, and she was raped by two different men, said police.
Police interviewed several of the people who attended the party,and say one person told them he had seen the victim and sheappeared to be under the influence of bars and could barely move.That witness also told police he saw six men bring the girl intothe bathroom during the evening.
The victim called 911 at 4:16 a.m. the following morning fromthe cell phone of the girl who had initially driven her to theparty. The dispatcher was not able to understand the victim wellbecause of impaired speech, according to police. Officers were ableto trace the call to the friend's home at Pine Place in Austin.However, the victim had been taken to another friend's house. Laterthat day, when the victim woke up a different female friend droveher to the hospital.
