NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (AP) - The Comal River and the Guadalupe River have reopened forrecreation about two weeks after strong storms led to flooding thatswamped some areas.
New Braunfels Mayor Bruce Boyer on Thursdayannounced the reopening of the rivers.
A statement from the city says the rivers and affected parks inNew Braunfels have undergone extensive cleanup since June 9flooding, but the public should be alert to the potential of moredebris.
