LAKE TRAVIS (KXAN) - We've heard about it and now it's here. And Aquapalooza is adoozy.
It's a massive two-day concert on Lake Travis accessible only byboat. It's at the 22-mile marker near Reserve on the Lake.
Some 5,000 boats and 30,000 people are expected to attend onFriday and Saturday. And arrive early, they did.
"We got here at 6:30 a.m. so we could get a good spot. We'restaying until Sunday," said Zack Praytor.

There are reserved rope tie-ups for 2,000 boats; all others willneed to drop their own anchors. Constant shuttle buses will bringpeople onto land to visit the food stands or port-a-potties.
The security patrol is heavy with Lower Colorado RiverAuthority, Texas Rangers, sheriff's deuties and game wardens onduty.
There is even a fellow dressed as Batman, riding a black jet skiwith "bat fins" on the back. "I'm patrolling to keep everyone safe.So far it's been excellent," "Batman" said.

A heavy rain began to fall on the festival in the earlyafternoon, but revelers didn't seem to let it bother them.
With 100 locations around the world this month, organizers say15,000 boats and 84,000 revelers are expected to attend. Austin isthe "signature event." It's the fifth year the event has beencelebrated, but the first year for Austin.
