KINGSLAND, Texas (KXAN) - An Amber Alert was canceled Thursday after two Kingsland, Texas were found safe in Galveston.
The alert was issued about 2 p.m. for Savannah Sloan, 13, and her 15-year-old sister, Misty.
There were last seen on Wednesday at 1 a.m. in Kingsland before being located Thursday night around 8:30 p.m. at a motel.
The girls, who are sisters, were believed to be taken by their uncle, Keith Mize.
Galveston Police said they had two suspects in custody, but could not confirm if Mize was one of them.
Mize, 33, reportedly has a tattoo that reads, "Misty and Savannah My Girls" on his chest.
