AUSTIN (AP) — University of Texas receivers Cayleb Jones and Kendall Sanders have been reinstated to the team, but that they will miss the season opener against New Mexico State because of arrests this spring.
Head coach Mack Brown announced the suspensions at a press conference Monday.
Jones was arrested after an altercation in late February with a UT tennis player.
Sanders was arrested on a drunken driving charge in April.
Both are sophomores.
