LIN Widget Terms of Service
LIN Television Corporation, d/b/a LIN Media, and its subsidiaries (collectively, “LIN”), provides certain “widgets” in relation to its proprietary websites. This LIN Widget Terms of Service applies to the widget described below (collectively, the “Widget”):

By using the Widget, you agree to these LIN Widget Terms of Service. We reserve the right to change the LIN Widget Terms of Service or to impose new conditions on use of the Widget, from time to time, in which case we will post the revised LIN Widget Terms of Service on this website. By continuing to use the Widget after we post any such changes, you accept the LIN Widget Terms of Service, as modified.
The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy located at the Website URL listed above shall also apply to your use of the Widget. For the avoidance of doubt, any use of the Widget will be considered a use of the Site, as defined therein.
Widget Content
The Widget is a tool which you may place on your website which allows visitors to your website to access and view content from our Website URL (the “Widget Content”). You acknowledge and agree that the Widget Content may, without limitation, include our logos, headlines, links, search boxes, and/or advertising. The Widget Content is property of us and/or our affiliates or licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You acknowledge and agree that, as part of the Widget Content, we may use data capture, syndication analysis, and other similar tools to track, extract, compile, aggregate, and analyze any data or information resulting from use of the Widget subject to the Site Privacy Policy.
Permitted Use and License
Subject to your compliance with the LIN Widget Terms of Service, you may place the Widget on your website(s) and/or page(s) using the code contained at the Website URL. You may adjust width and height of the Widget in the code, but you may not otherwise modify the Widget Content.
Subject to your compliance with the LIN Widget Terms of Service, as well as the Site Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, LIN hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, personal, revocable license to use and display the Widget on your non-commercial website solely for your own personal, non-commercial use as permitted by these LIN Widget Terms of Service. Unless you receive written consent from LIN, you are not licensed to use the Widget for any other purpose, and nothing in these LIN Widget Terms of Service shall be deemed to grant you any right, title or interest in the Widget or the Widget Content. Unless explicitly authorized herein or by the owner of the materials, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, translate, sell, create derivative works, exploit, or distribute in any manner or medium (including by email or other electronic means) any material from the Widget, including proprietary rights notices. Widget Content may not be used by you in any manner that would constitute an endorsement (whether express or implied) by any person or entity of any product(s), service(s), activity(ies), or brand(s).
Prohibited Use
LIN prohibits the placement of the Widget on any site that includes content that is offensive, abusive, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, vulgar, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate as determined by LIN in its sole discretion. You may not display the Widget in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable LIN web page. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page, or other content between the Widget and the applicable LIN web page. You may not otherwise alter the Widget Content. You may not attempt to re-sell, redistribute, syndicate, or otherwise commercialize the Widget or Widget content in any way.
Right to Modify or Discontinue
LIN reserves the right to modify or discontinue providing the Widget at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing, or otherwise using the Widget for any reason. You may terminate this agreement and the license granted herein at any time by removing all copies of the Widget from your site, hard drives, networks, and other storage media.
No Warranty
LIN DISCLAIMS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY HARM RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WIDGET. THE WIDGET IS PROVIDED AS IS, WITH NO WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER. LIN EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF PROPRIETARY RIGHTS. LIN FURTHER DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES REGARDING THE SECURITY, RELIABILITY, TIMELINESS, AVAILABILITY, AND PERFORMANCE OF THE WIDGET. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOU USE THE WIDGET AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WIDGET.
Applicable Law
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between us and you with respect to the subject matter contained in this agreement and supersedes all previous and contemporaneous agreements, proposals and communications, written or oral. You also may be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when you use the products or services of a third party that are provided through the Site. In the event of any conflict between any such third-party terms and conditions and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall govern. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
