Submission Guidelines

• Event submissions are FREE and should be submitted at least a week before the event.

• Events must be open to the general public and/or those in the KXAN-TV or KNVA-TV viewing area.

• Events held by not-for-profit organizations are welcome.

• Charitable and/or free community events held by commercial and/or for-profit companies may be submitted.

• Community sales held for charity are welcome. Private and/or commercial yard sales are not permitted.

• Paid classes/programs that require registration fees are not permitted.

• Invitation-only events are not permitted.

• Please do NOT submit events publicizing a business-oriented sale or business events not held for a charity.

• KXAN-TV reserves the right to edit events for length and/or content.

• We also reserve the right to refuse any event.

• Posting events in the Community Calendar does not guarantee news coverage by KXAN-TV.
