Recently I received some skin care products to review and reached out to some respected bloggers to test them out and give their feedback. This is part five in a summer-long series, featuring Tiffany Schutt from PrettyIndy.com. -Twinkle
I was very excited to try this moisturizer...I don't know about you but I smell every product before I use it. This one smells very good - sweet but light in fragrance. It sinks in immediately and leaves your skin nicely hydrated without a greasy feel. Descriptions state that it is an "intensely hydrating moisturizer," so if you have oily skin this might just be a little too heavy (I have combo to dry skin myself). Ingredients boast Vitamin C and E which are both super for the skin for brightening and maintaining skin elasticity. Overall this product is a winner for me and I will absolutely use again!
This is the product out of the 4 I was most excited to try. I have always loved night creams but haven't found any I am completely head over heels for...until this little guy. This product comes in an attractive little jar and upon first inspection just looks like something I'd want to slather on my face. It is a creamy light pink that smells wonderful - a little more spa-like. It feels wonderful on the skin and makes it silky smooth immediately. The best part of the process, however, is waking up in the morning to smooth, soft, radiant skin. I'm talking after the first use. Red Mangrove Extract is the superstar of this product which is a powerful anti-oxidant for the skin - and as far as I'm concerned this product has easily won a spot in my skincare routine.
This moisturizer seemed a little more thin than the others and was my least favorite scent but it did feel nicely hydrating upon immediate application. I didn't think it would feel as moisturizing due to the texture of the lotion but my skin drank it up happily. It didn't seem as long-lasting as the Juara moisturizer, so this lotion might be better suited for oilier skin types. This product does boast multiple seed oils in the ingredients like almond, jojoba, and sunflower - but for those ingredients I'd expect more hydration.
This lotion is unscented so it would be a fabulous choice for those with sensitive skin or fragrance sensitivities. It is a very light moisturizer and therefore I didn't find it hydrating enough for myself; again it might just be a perfect option for someone with oilier skin. It is nice that this lotion is a multi-tasker that can be used on both face and body - and it has some fantastic ingredients (aloe, sunflower and coconut oils). This was my least favorite of the four products; I love fragrance and I just need more hydration from my lotion.
Disclaimer: I was provided with these samples and like everything that I review my opinions are my own.
