ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The feds say they have seized 230 pounds of Mexican cheese.
This was at the Santa Teresa port of entry last Friday.
Customs and border protection says the contraband queso was confiscated because it was considered a commercial-sized import.
They say the cheese was found in a pickup truck in three large ice chests.
The driver who is from Colorado received a $300 fine.
Officials say the cheese was destroyed.
