Since 1967, Austin Recovery has provided effective, compassionate drug and alcohol treatment for individuals, families and communities. Our transformational treatment model incorporates a broad range of techniques including individual and small group counseling with licensed clinicians, experiential therapies, 12 step work, and a comprehensive evidence-based curriculum. Our treatment aims to bring about the in-depth cognitive, behavioral and spiritual changes that are essential for overcoming addiction. We provide a medical detox to ensure a safe physical experience transitioning away from dangerous substances for those in need, followed by 30 and 90 day residential treatment options for both men and women, intensive outpatient, aftercare services, and a vibrant alumni association. We also have an innovative program called “Family House” where mothers can bring young children with them into residential treatment. These families benefit from both recovery services and intensive parenting education, case management, and a therapeutic day-care for the children, which helps the entire family system heal from the pain of active addiction.
